One of the rare occasions when something absolutely deserving and incredibly unlikely becomes a huge mainstream hit.

I much prefer this version, with just the guitar accoma-- accompni-- fella who plays the guitar. Extra stars for George Clooney's accent.

Such an unexpectedly wonderful movie.

Love this tune.

A great feel-good movie. Clooney can't act, but he can overact, and he uses that to his full advantage in this film. Not a clunker in the cast, for that matter. Haywire Mac's "Big Rock Candy Mountain" is my other fave from this film (Mac also did the wonderfully absurd "Aien't We Crazy?", worth tracking down).

John Turturro is the greatest character actor of this generation.
