A judge ruled in Torn's favor and Hopper was ordered to pay 5,000 in damages. Hopper then appealed but the judge again ruled in Torn's favor and Hopper was required to pay another 5,000 in punitive damages.[11] Hopper then struck Torn three times in the head with a hammer.

Torn didn't give Mailer as much punishment as he deserved; not only did he (Mailer) confuse people with his "reporting" fiction as fact but he also stabbed his own wife at a party.

Mailer deserves neither respect nor protection from Rip Torn's brutal fists of fury.

Hard to do anything in Hollywood without doing it in front of Mailer's kids. He's got like fifty.

You watched a clip that everyone thought was funny because Rip Torn is taking method acting to an extreme and terrorizing a set. This is obvious to anyone who's not a dumb kid.

You, being a dumb kid, immediately blurt out the only role you know Rip Torn from, a nondescript bit part in a recent Will Smith movie. "HEY WOW WOULDN'T IT BE FUNNIER IF IT WAS MORE LIKE THAT?" This shows you're a kid who hasn't watched movies more than 10 years old, but not knowing Rip Torn's older roles is only a snowflake on the whole dumb kid iceberg since the character of Zed has fuck all to with anything here.
