"Bad like Michael Jackson" was really a whole different thing fifteen years ago.

It's easy to forget how Bart-centric the show originally was.
With that said, good video...brings me back.
Unmerciful Crushing Force
Is this when they were still being animated by Klasky-Csupo?

That is so 1991.

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. I can't believe this didn't destroy their credibility.
takewithfood
It didn't?

They have credibility?

Torture the Artist
hahaha, god preserve the precious credibility of the simpsons.

cartoon raps are never without IMPORTANT REPERCUSSIONS.

RockBolt
Credibility? The Simpsons Sing the Blues was recorded in 1990, about 10 months after the show debuted as a half hour program. This effetively pre-dated all credibility the Simpsons ever had

theSnake
I couldn't watch the whole thing.
drcrypt
I could, and I was surprised by how good the song was, considering what it was. Sure, Michael Jackson produced it on the crapper, but you can still hear it. The fact that he produced this really explains his early "guest appearance" on the show, and becomes strangely troubling when you consider the fact that he was only interested in the Simpsons when it revolved around a prepubescent ten year old boy from an abusive home.

I seem to recall thinking this was pretty awesome when I was twelve. I'm not so sure, now.
glasseye
Me too.

Painful!

Old_Zircon
Ouch.

Caminante Nocturno
They made another one, didn't they?
