The cat committing suicide at the end is priceless. I think they cut the cartoon after "Now I've seen everything" in the 80's, because I never saw that last part.
Agreed, that took it from good to great. I'm pretty sure all the "meat rationing" jokes were axed as well.
I always wondered why it cut to "That all Folks!" so quickly... ... Now I know.
