Wouldn't the foci of such a cube be a geometric point? If so, wouldn't that mean an infinite number of planes on an infinite number of axes equaling an infinite number of days?
Though each intersection of planar rays would equal an infinite number of possible foci, he could work all manner of geometric shapes into his theory. He makes me smile.

Why didn't the interviewer challenge him a bit more: like if the top and bottom face of the cube touch the north and south pole how do you decide how to orient the rest...? or do you just refer to the paperweight model. He talks about standing on the edge of the cube... wouldn't that be in space... does he actually believe the earth is a cube...? Why hasn't he tried to visit an edge and take pictures ? How many nights has he spent staring at his paperweight mumbling about how dumb the rest of the world is ?
