who the fuck rated this one star? ok lisa saying "alternative" comic book writers is a bit, odd, I mean it depends on your oppinion and definition of alternative...but I digress, any problems with that are more then made up for by the watchmen babies (the picture...so funny) and spieglman putting on the mouse face. anyway if I keep going on about this clips awesomness I will bust a nut so, adieu.

Adramelech - 2007-11-20 Good lord, I hope I don't sound this bad when I geek-out.

Xenocide - 2007-11-20
For a modern Simpsons ep, this was quite good, even if it depended on in-jokes quite a bit.
Note the Lost Girls poster behind Alan.

EvilHomer - 2007-11-20
"Maus is in the House" makes up for every Lisa episode ever.

snothouse - 2007-11-20
Watchmen babies.
That's it.

zatojones - 2007-11-20 Also the poster for Lost Girls, Alan Moore's lesbian porn comic

I didn't think it was that great. Also this was a really dumb episode and took of in a completely retarded direction after the comic book shop stuff, which was not even revisited. Is comic book guy gone or has the show lost all sense of continuity?
|
bac - 2007-11-20 BLARG BLARG BLARG.
I started off writing a response to your stupid, and I decided that should suffice.
|
theSnake - 2007-11-20 Sure is cool to use tired internet cliche responses on people who disagree with you to fit in with people you will never meet. LOL HURF BLURF BLOWJOBS

5 stars, because the end of clip kept repeating, playing over and over again comic book guy's impaling on a display of used Jughead hats.

Baby Rorschach is my favorite, his moral absolutism is just so cute.
Also, MAUS IS IN THE HAUS.

Blaise - 2007-11-20
Worst superhero team-up ever.

This episode was the first time I've actually laughed at a new Simpsons in years. Of course then they had to go on to the zany hijinks and the rest of the episode was a bit WTFy especially with like OH HEY MARGE IS NOW AN IMPORTANT BUSINESSPERSON and the stuff from the promos was all just a dream!!!!!! but still.
I wonder if Shapes will be a permanent replacement for The Android's Dungeon. I don't imagine they'll keep Jack Black around though.

Hugo Gorilla - 2007-11-20
I like comic books, I like Alan Moore, and I like funny Simpsons episodes. Two out of three isn't bad.
I just wish the writers could come up with celebrity cameos and appearances that didn't seem so forced and end as fist fights.

And it's down.
|
Harveyjames - 2007-11-20 Just replace 'The Simpsons' with 'Los Simpson' in the search box. Standard practice. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=DfWRr48nqDE

Sean Robinson - 2007-11-20
So Northerners talk like that all the time?
|
Harveyjames - 2007-11-20 Depends where you're from, I think Alan's accent is pretty specific to northhampton. It's very thick, too.
|
Screwtape - 2007-11-20
Wacky!
Also, have they changed Comic Book Guy's voice?
|
mr666 - 2007-11-20 same guy it's always been.

Hooper_X - 2008-09-30
Ehn. It's nice to see Alan Moore making fun of his own pretentiousness, at least.

coprolalia - 2008-10-01
Heh. Watchman Babies.
