This doesn't really tell us a lot about the nature of her disorder or delusions, but it's a pretty close look into the humanity involved. That would be just about the worst.
This reminds me I really need to knock out "part two". One or two people almost want to read it.
I don't know which is more touching, her mother's strength, or the brief moments where she makes just enough sense that you can tell how scared and confused she is.
I didn't work with the schizophrenics all that much. I was studying child and adolescent psychology. It was the huge amount of incest/sex abuse and child molestation that worked your nerves after five years.
4:56 - She realizes she has lost the plot and just quiets down in embarrassed frustration. The camera pans over her longsuffering parents.
But the sad part is the dog in the background. At 5:00 it takes one look back to make sure she's alright, then walks away sadly to await the next incident. It knows she has a problem that it can't help, but it wants to help because it's a Good Dog. :(
