Yes, he was the guy who made Hedgehog in the Fog, but he's probably most famous for is his life's work, an animated adaptation of Gogol's The Overcoat. He's been doing that film since 1981, and I tried to find a decent clip of it to submit. Anybody into animation here probably knows about it. It's like the most beautiful thing ever.
