You kidding? The Japanese consume more cheesy rock songs than any other country on the planet, aside from possibly all of eastern Europe. Where else can you find multiple Mr. Big cover bands in a small geographical region?
True, true. A lot of the dumbasses on youtube (same exact scene, different video for some reason) were making comments expressing anger at the lack of audience response.
as a resident of Japan, I can back up the claims of the Japanese love of cheesy rock. It's the only place on earth where you can choose between about 15 Helloween or Mr. Big songs at any Karaoke booth.
I don't care what the opinion of Kansas is. Call it cheesy all you want. I grew up rocking out to this song - and it's a major reason why i learned to play guitar.
That said - there are not enough stars in the world for this degree of awesome.
