That show was absolutely fabulous for many reasons.
- For all it's worth, this animated series' backdrops recaptured the cheesyness of the papier-maché sets of the original series.
- The cell animation recaptured the stillness of hazed-out looks of both original actors.
- The inanity of the dialogs reproduced the essence of the plots of the original series.
-1 star because we didn't get to see Kirk rip off his shirt, battle a rubbersaurus nor inter-racially make out with some green goddess.
Nice stilted dialog. I wish they'd caricatured Kirk and Spock a little instead of making them look like the action figures that all used the same mold. Star Trek just isn't the same without Shatner's weird facial expressions. Hanna Barbera/Filmation were so boring but I enjoyed this short clip.
