Given the amount of videos put there of cars plowing into emergency vehicles on the side of the road, you'd think cops especially would welcome having a big firetruck there for cover instead of bitching that traffic needs to be moving FASTER past all of them

Fuck the fine, this guy should just be straight up fired and never allowed to hold any state-level job or law enforcement ever again. Emergency vehicles rarely fall under any sort of laws of where they're supposed to park during an emergency call, but it's not like they park just anywhere. For roadside emergencies it's usually standard practice to partially block traffic in order to create a barrier so that the site of the accident doesn't have high speed traffic zooming by it, creating further danger. What a fucking dickless, power-tripping, prick.
