Yet another PS3 game that was supposed to be the second comming according to every PS3 fanboi.

Does that system have even one good exclusive title yet?

(PRESS X TO DODGE THIS QUESTION)

baleen - 2008-02-27

SO VERY TRUE SO VERY TRUE INDEDED

Cinnamon Imperialist - 2008-02-27

Just wait 'til fluffy shows up.

Also, no "I NATE NIGGERS" tag?

RomancingTrain - 2008-02-27

When you spell fanboy like that am I supposed to pronounce it the French way?

Merzbau - 2008-02-27

"fanbwa"

Hodge - 2008-02-28

Automatic 5.

RockBolt - 2008-02-28

His complaints are quite valid, the game definitely doesn't do anything ground-breakingly different at a core level, but I really had a fun time playing it. Its lush and polished, and story wise it seems like it is meant to be a callback to all the familiar pulp action adventureish stories, and not really masquerading as having invented any of it.

I don't know where he had problems with the platforming though, that part I thought was almost too obvious and linear to get from one point to the next...

Xenocide - 2008-02-29

Like the PS3 itself, it's just been a parade of prettied-up rehashes so far. The best game on the system appears to be Ratchet and Clank Future, and even reviewers who gushed over it admit that it's just the same R&C game everyone's been playing for years with a new coat of paint.

Diogenes - 2008-02-27

Stick figure-related cognitive dissonance just made me extremely uncomfortable

IrishWhiskey - 2008-02-27

Aaah! Aaah! That's Yahtzee! The fourth wall is broken!!!
Now these are ruined to me forever!

Lindner - 2008-02-27

Me too... I thought Yahtzee wore a fedora hat at all times. Even in the shower.

Aelric - 2008-02-27

it just shows a complete lack of dedication to the fedora. you don't choose to wear fedora's, they choose you, and if you ever part for more than a ten minute noir flashback in a gin joint, than you are not worthy to be in our awesome club.

Smellvin - 2008-02-27

His voice made him sound scrawnier than he is and clean shaven. (Yes, I have a very keen sense of someone's facial-hair-status by listening to his voice).

Harveyjames - 2008-02-27

I like him more now i know what he looks like.

RandomFerret - 2008-02-27

I thought he sounded a bit fat, actually. But I was with you on the clean-shaven bit.

Also DAMMIT THAT IS NOT A FEDORA IT IS A TRILBY.

KnowFuture - 2008-02-27

I pictured him being meaner looking.

Quad9Damage - 2008-02-27

I thought Yahtzee would look older.

Sudan no1 - 2008-02-27

ok where's the (NO HOMO)?
I will have to assume you're all gay.

Cinnamon Imperialist - 2008-02-27

He was thinner than I thought, although he did have the dirtstache like I imagined.

revdrew - 2008-02-27

I pictured him looking some what less like Freddy Mercury.

themilkshark - 2008-02-27

HE'S HOT

Udderdude - 2008-02-28

It's like learning Santa Claus doesn't exist all over again.

Emcee - 2008-02-28

I'm surprised he was able to keep his Tommy Gun pace unassisted. Well done.

bongoprophet - 2008-02-27

lol racism!

THIS IS
BACKGROUND
HA HA

The McK - 2008-02-27

Significantly less fat than the last internet icon who revealed themselves.

And by that I mean the time Lore Sjolberg showed me his dick.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-02-27

Now that Yahtzee had revealed himself, it's only a matter of time before yaoi artwork between him and Seanbaby is created.

Meerkat - 2008-02-27

Yay for Spandau Ballet!

athodyd - 2008-02-27

He looks exactly how I imagined him except with that weird hair-wave instead of the hat.

Ersatz - 2008-02-27

I was unprepared for his hands to be connected to his body.

FABIO2 - 2008-02-28

He's back to being funny again. I could have done without the reveal though.

Pie Boy - 2008-02-28

The Gun-Wielding Darkies is the name of my new uber-trendy postmodern gangsta rap crew.

Vicious - 2008-02-29

He's had a picture of himself on his website for a while and one in his Valve travelogue.

Severian - 2008-02-29

Excellent as always.

Has anyone played his adventure games? I bought the special edition of one (5 Days a Something?) but can't ever seem to stay interested enough to get past the first few boring and guessing bits.

Aubrey McFate - 2008-03-02

The first two are all right. Good writing, but they won't blow you away. They're worth getting free.

The third one, Trilby's Notes, is excellent. One of the best adventure games I've ever played. It's very worth picking up.

The fourth is better than the first two, but not quite as good as Notes. It's still worth getting free.

You have to play them all to get the whole story, but if you're not interested then pick up Notes.

Bone_Vulture - 2008-02-29

Well, props for Yahtzee for not looking like he plays computer/console games for a living (no, I don't know if it's a living).

Too bad that based on his voice alone, he had a weird John Peel quality.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-02-29

Perfect aim at 900 yards, naturally.

Also, I'm climbing aboard the I

Binro the Heretic - 2008-03-06

???

Is Yahtzee also Dr. Ashen?

That's Dr. Ashen's couch, isn't it?

petep - 2008-04-20
