Incalculably awesome. When General Lee appears it's pretty much the best thing ever.

Skatopian - 2008-04-22

Seconded. Awesome.

Camonk - 2008-03-04

The best is how the Federals sound snooty and British.

crote - 2008-03-04

At least as good as the Killer Angels.

General Reynolds :(

Chizmurder - 2008-03-04

Well, I still think it's an appropriate day for a battle.

Senator_Unger - 2008-03-04

Never before has General Reynold's death been portrayed so accurately.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2008-03-04

Supremely awesome BUT -1 as this was clearly filmed by an adult who used the kids to supply the voices.

/jaded asshole

Smellvin - 2008-03-04

Unfortunately, I think I have to agree with you on that one. This production doesn't exactly seem like a 12 year old's work.

The Great Hippo - 2008-03-04

I'd accept adult assistance so long as the child could exert complete creative control at any time.

You kidding? We made stop motion Lego videos when we were 8 to 10 on tape, without editing equipment. We'd just press start and pause on the camcorder as quick as possible. It was tricky because the camcorder would stop the tape every three minutes and there would then be a second of static, so we had to be quick. I remember this one time we synced up the credits to Bolt Thrower's unleashed upon mankind by manually stopping the camcorder every two bars, re- queue the CD, and shoot another two bars, each time within three minutes. There was this other great scene where we got a Punisher action figure to scramble away from a bear. The reptile rodeo? Classic. Besides literally having to have a still shot for all the dialogue, we could have done all this stuff.

The stuff kids can do with computers these days is incredible. I'm sure we could have made something at least this awesome with the technology, except we'd probably use more metal music. So people, BELIEVE!

Totally Gorilla. I did a stop motion in school and had the same problems with the camera auto-stopping and the motionless talking scenes haha. Having a remote for the camera was important too. 12 year olds could totally do this.

So post your videos?

TeenerTot - 2008-03-04

Oh, PLEASE let this actually be made by a kid.
Too awesome.
"I'm gonna get those yankees! Did I brush my teeth today?"

BHWW - 2008-03-04

It's alright, but it needs to be narrated by an elderly man with a Southern accent, with a melancholy fiddle being played in the background.
