That news anchor seems really happy about 9/11. Luckily, talking cats and green people are there to keep things in perspective.

And hey, fuck you, cast of Dragonball Z. You're all as strong as Superman and can fly, yet you were all too busy perfecting your reaction shots to help out on that horrible day. Hey Goku, how about you down that copy of My Pet Goat and go rescue people? You fucking jackass.

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2008-03-18

+5 for utterly destroying faith in humanity for tonight.

Also, George W. Bush carries a katana and has a purple mop top. Inspiring.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-03-18

Hearing Bush's speeches from back then, they really have this offensive air to them.

Hodge - 2008-03-18

5 for it's sheer awkwardness.

Syd Midnight - 2008-03-18

I will give anime the benefit of the doubt and not rate this, I assume I just don't get it. But I want to rate it low.. It's just not funny enough to make up form what I felt.

Midnight Man - 2008-03-18

YOU DIDN'T THINK THAT WAS FUNNY!??!

Camonk - 2008-03-23

There is nothing, NOTHING, that isn't funny about this video.

GuyCorngood - 2008-03-18

I hope someone does this to honor me if I perish in a terrorist attack.

Hooper_X - 2008-03-18

Holy christ. Now THIS is what POE is all about, right here.

sosage - 2008-03-18

This is almost too POE for POETV...if that makes sense...

sosage - 2008-03-18

...I originally couldn't get myself to rate this...these stars represent how uncomfortable this thing is to watch...

Monchiles Monchiles - 2008-03-18

People Who Liked This Video Also Liked: Boy dies imitating Naruto. My god, what a wonderful train wreck.

Harveyjames - 2008-03-18

Vegeta! What was the death toll on 9/11?

Cinnamon Imperialist - 2008-03-18

IN AMERICA.

zatojones - 2008-03-18

It was UNDER THREE THOUSAANNNNDDDDD!

This is almost as bad as the actual event.

King of Balls - 2008-03-18

Literally unbelievable. I'm fucking speechless that this seems to be genuine. Also: The creator's name is GokuFievel. Isn't Goku one of the muscle-y guys in the video, and isn't Fievel that pussy vole from American Tail? If so, don't those two characters cancel each other out if you compound them into one word?

minimalist - 2008-03-18

Something about a lot of internet autistics leads them to mash together their favorite things in their heads, regardless of compatibility. It's why you see lots of "fox/badger" hybrids among furries, Chris-chan's Sonic/Pikachu monstrosity, etc.

Now, those at least make some amount of sense, but on Youtube I've also seen ridiculous crap like the Doctor Who theme dubbed over the Transformers opening animation, for no real reason other than "it's two things I like... TOGETHER!"

coprolalia - 2008-03-18

This video is even an example! Autistics love terrorism and anime, it was only natural to combine the two.

minimalist - 2008-03-18

I was surprised to find that 9/11 footage still makes me ill. With this video, though... the healing has finally begun.

Azmo23 - 2008-03-18

ditto on the nausea. luckily i know sailor moon feels the same way.
goddamit.I hate you poe.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-03-19

Sailor Moon has pretty much always given me the same nausea concerning 911, so in many ways it's the perfect match.

revdrew - 2008-03-18

That certainly puts things into perspective.

Chizmurder - 2008-03-18

"Where our favorite Anime Characters weeping with us on that fate-ful day? If they were real I believe so!"

What?! God dammit.

NoCode - 2008-03-18

What. Holy god. I hope to hell this is a hoax, meant to mock the retarded anime 9/11 tributes. Otherwise I can't go on living.

chalk - 2008-03-18

The user comments make this even better.

"Even thogh I didnt lose aanyone in the attack my h.s. band trip to regionals down in Miami was canceled so I know what it is like to lose someone."

"I showed this at an Anime Convention once. I got mixed reactions but mostly good. Including SOME ANIME FANS WHO WERE IN THE MILITARY! He said his drill sergant was a huge InuYasha fan calling his weapons his Tetsaiga."

Anti-Pope - 2008-04-06

This video made me extremely uncomfortable.

That high school band comment blew my fucking mind.

Vicious - 2008-03-18

This is just fucking me up on some basic level. My stomach and spine and brain are all twitching.

GusPlease - 2008-03-18

Submitter here. When I first saw this, I thought "Wow, this is the Mona Lisa of youtube trolling! This can't be real! This is hilarious, in an insincere way!" But after looking at the account, I gradually convinced myself that it was for the following reasons:

1) The person who made it (GokuFievel) has many other AMVs under his youtube account
2) GokuFievel has videos of his AMVs being shown at conventions
3) His account has been open for a while and this particular video was added months ago with no fanfare
4) His website, www.gokufievel.com, belongs on POE proper, with gems like "TOP TEN SIGNS YOU’RE AT A DAMN GOOD ANIME CONVNETION - 9: If you’re a girl during the B-Machine Dance you got to dance with: Naruto, Vash the Stampede, & InuYasha"

So, yes, it's pretty indisputably real.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-03-18

I almost stopped watching when the dub Sailor Moon soundtrack music started playing.

If you haven't watched this yet, that's really where you should stop watching.

NineEleven - 2008-03-18

The Z team could do nothing to stop the planes...they have to power up for 3 episodes before taking action.

StanleyPain - 2008-03-18

Just.....wow.

Midnight Man - 2008-03-18

There's a lot of words to describe how 9/11 makes me feel, but until this day 'side splittingly hilarious' was not one of them.

Aoi - 2008-03-18

Scenes From:
Sailor Moon Sailor Stars
Dragonball Z
Ranma 1/2
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne
CNN: America Remembers

Helzet - 2008-03-18

That opening warning is a sentence that should not be able to exist.

Random_Hajile - 2008-03-18

Thanks a lot. Now I look like a jerk for laughing while planes crash into the WTC on my screen.

bopeton - 2008-03-18

On 9/11 I was in the Navy, stationed on a tiny island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Thanks to terrorists, we went on alert and weren't able to drink any alcohol for weeks, due to operational readiness requirements. Morale plummeted.

For that alone, I was ready to murder them all. Fuck anybody who thinks it was funny or that it's better with bullshit cartoons taken out of context.

That being said, five stars. This is what PoETV is for.

Knuckles - 2008-03-19

"Even thogh I didnt lose aanyone in the attack my platoon couldn't drink for a while after the attack so I know what it is like to lose someone."

dead_cat - 2008-03-18

Congratulations, mr spedtaku, that's only about the second time I've laughed so hard at the events of 9/11/01 that I've had to turn shit off and take a breather.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-03-19

Not since the 9/11 Limp Bizkit Balto tribute have I been so very moved. I guess a "why the terrorists hate us" tag would be too obvious.

This was so autastic.

futurebot - 2008-03-21

AWESOME

glendower - 2008-03-21

What I'm hoping is that this 14-y-o presents this masterpiece at a family gathering or in a classroom. I'd love to be in that room. Also, I like how he puts his girlfriend's name in quotes.

plaid_knight - 2008-06-03

Five stars for auspie. Now I need to pick up my jaw off the floor.

FABIO2 - 2008-06-19

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck......

dreamvigile - 2008-07-15

Five stars for being the first movie on PoETV that I couldn't watch all the way through. I've seen guys get their foot cut off by a wall, guys slide through fire, guys set themselves on fire... nothing can prepare anyone for this.

plaid_knight - 2008-07-31

current location of the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RDanD1Z7Ps&feature=related

IrishWhiskey - 2008-10-27

This is the Mona-Lisa of horrific anime tributes, to be enshrined for all time as a work of internet-age art.

The Caffeine Kid - 2008-12-04

horrible

Nikon - 2009-05-15

Hory Clap.

Old_Zircon - 2014-03-18

I've been here since the first month, probably the first week, but I continue to be amazed by how much good stuff I missed when it was first posted.
