I loved this show.

It made sense because the whole show was supposed to be about all the crazy things that the kid imagined. (Without the aid of any psychotropics).

It's a terrific homage to Kubrick's The Shining, where the kid is tricycling around the haunted hotel.

I watched it but I was aware it was a 'C' grade cartoon.

Comedy Central taught the young me that this was based off of the swear-laden stand up routine of a man who the was star of a film I hated.

Huh. Having just watched that, I know that I used to watch this show constantly and that somewhere in my head I know who all those characters are. But anything more than that is lost to me.

As a kid, I disliked this show intensely. It was the exact same premise as Muppet Babies ("HOLY FUCKING SHIT LET'S USE OUR IMAGINATIONS!!!") and countless imitators, but far, far less clever about it. Plus I had no idea who Howie Mandel was so having a live-action guy pop up in front of the logo was just weird.

I will never enjoy any show involving Howie Mandel, and his "hilarious" toddler voices

It might have been "Life with Louie" but I heard one of these 'main charachter based on the comedian as a child' cartoons described as "What I imagined my life would have been like if my dad wasn't an abusive alcoholic".

Which made me look at it in a whole new light, even as a child.

I really find it hard to hate anything on TV as much as this. 2 stars for being irritating enough to warrant more than one star.
