Jesus Christ, it was only a matter of time before Donald Sutherland was going to be cast as a demolitions expert.

The absurdity of a severely stoned Sutherland in a WW2 movie added to the fun of the all-character-actor experience. Now if only they'd cut out the fucking hippie song over the credits. Besides, there has to be a few guys in every war exactly like this.

It's their battle music at the end that kills me.
