I blame the British for everything. They're the ones who cut up the whole middle east into straight lines and arbitrary borders in the first place after that whole WWI thing.
Imagine how middle eastern instruments and percussion with arabic flow would sound. Imagine the horror at reading the transcripts. Imagine the looks if you drove around certain parts of town bumping it.
Why isn't there some kind of Doctors Without Borders organization, except for low-to-medium-rent rap artists?? Dammit, I want to somehow raise the funds and/or contribute to what's needed to buy an 808 and a pair of Tecs or something, box them up all careful, and send them over there as some kind of twisted charity.
There probably already is something like this, so I'll patiently wait for somebody to Google That Shit For Me.
