Lester and Miles seem to have this father-son thing going on between them. You can just imagine them on a boat in a pond, fishing and laughing and not being afraid to be open with each other.
I remember that MASK toys changed into covert war machine things from another vehicle. This also had something to do with all the good guys (and maybe the bad guys) wearing mechanized masks. Beyond this, I remeber nothing other than having a MASK toy semi truck that turned into a surface to air missile silo.
Five stars because I had to explain MASK to my girlfriend, I even happened to have a couple figures in the garage.
Me: ...and they have powerful masks and transforming vehicles and they fight each other like low-rent GI Joes.
Her: *pulling off the masks* So under the masks they're gay stereotypes?
She's right, the goodguys are all clean-cut, Log Cabin Republican types and the badguys are a bunch of new wave clubgoers, except for Miles Mayhem, who I guess is the grey-haired sugar daddy/Queeen Mother of the bunch.
My favorite thing about Miles is that he worked on the development of M.A.S.K. before betraying the team. Yet for some reason he has no idea of the identity of the M.A.S.K. wearers. Or even where the M.A.S.K.s came from. With many episodes delving into his various schemes to reveal their identities. This has led to much sarcastic fancrafting that Miles has a legitimate mental disability.
