I was interested until I noticed it was 1 of 3 clips :(
If I were younger, I would have worshipped the guy playing it. Aliens was my favorite arcade game.
- 1 because I'm not so young anymore and I've slowly realized that I spent thirty minutes watching someone play a video game
So the secret was using the flamethrower. No wonder I could never beat it; Contra had conditioned me into believing all flame weapons sucked.
I played this game before I saw the movie, and remember wondering why all the aliens looked the same and where were the flying and spinning and puddle ones?

They're obviously cheating, because it is impossible to beat the rolling boss alien on only one life.
All those months I wasted using the NES Contra cheat code to know I could have plugged quarters into a machine and got the respect of nobody.
Uh .. you guys do realize the entire point of an arcade game like this is to complete it on one credit? Why so much butthurt over people who play these the way they were designed? The "OMG THEY'RE SUCH LOSERS LOL" attitude is pretty pathetic.
There were few arcade games designed to be impossible to complete on one credit. Most are very, very difficult .. but not impossible. They may seem impossible, but aren't.
this game was one of those many I knew I'd never be good at...only entertainment when watching over the shoulder of a pro
I actually broke one of these machines at a bowling alley when I was a kid. Nerd rage.

As far as arcade games go, I remember this one as being somewhat on the easy side, actually
Aliens vs Predator was much better i think. 4 players, you could play as the Predators, better art.
Waitaminnit! Ripley's not a blonde!
This is great. Now i never have to play this game again. I feel like i gained time just by watching this video.
