Spider-Man is a menace!

Hodge - 2008-06-05

Spider-Man's super powers includes making annoying and idiotic comments and swinging around on his web doing absolutely nothing while all the other super heroes save the day.

UnderANeonHalo - 2008-06-05

Everything before the space ork comes in is boring, and stupid, and nerd fag stroke material!

5 stars of WAAAAAAAAAAAGH!

Randroid - 2008-06-05

+5 for space ork

Aernaroth2 - 2008-06-05

HULK IZ MADE FOR FIGHTIN AND ROKKIN

StanleyPain - 2008-06-05

See, why can't they just make an Avengers movie like this? This and those animations from the Ultimate Alliance games were way better than I think anyone could have ever hoped they'd be.

Camonk - 2008-06-05

This was a solid four or so 'til you reminded me of the MUA movies. Man I love that game.

balistic - 2008-06-05

Hey, I worked on this (lighting and set detailing). I think you can see a slightly larger version if you go to marvelkids.com.

Marvel commissioned it last year because they did some market research and found out that young kids didn't know who Ironman was (many thought he was supposed to be a robot).

It was a way fun project to work on, and we turned it around in something like six weeks.

UnderANeonHalo - 2008-06-05

You guys did a good job, it really does look pretty.

Diogenes - 2008-06-05

Oh man, that is subtle as all hell. Marvel must have genius schizophrenic polymaths working in their marketing department.

kingarthur - 2008-06-05

Since you might know someone on the inside, can you get them to push for a Marvel Adventures version of The Avengers? It's aimed at kids, it's got all the big names (Wolverine, Spiderman, Iron Man, Storm, Hulk, and Captain America) and isn't burdened by forty years of continuity. Plus, it's just fun. It's not very often that you get a comic that's just about fun.

Galactos - 2008-06-05

And make Hulk more World War Hulkish. I want a generally intelligent superhero who jumps from the frickin moon to a burning, fiery planetary reentry, leaving a huge crater just because he's happy and felt like it.

balistic - 2008-06-06

Don't know anyone at Marvel unfortunately. This was my first project at Blur so I wasn't privy to much of the preproduction.

I do know, however, that Marvel was really happy with how it came out. Wouldn't be at all surprised if they wanted to have us do more stuff with their characters in the future.

Stopheles - 2008-06-05

Iron Man's a bit snarkier ("time for you to CHILL!") than he should be, but otherwise, this is pretty much exactly what I would want an animated Marvel movie to be like.

DrVital - 2008-06-05

Nice stuff.

You can kind of tell it's rushed, since Blur usually does better and more detailed cloth-work than Spidey's "painted skin" costume, but the Hulk looks and plays better than the movie character.

svraz - 2008-06-05

I have watched this carefully and have come to the conclusion that it is a fake. FAKE!

Squeamish - 2008-06-05
