I once got into a huge argument with an art instructor who showed us some crap like this. Some video of a guy in a room with nothing but some cushions that he was ripping open. That wasn't art, and neither is this. Fuck anyone that swallows this tripe.

Oh lighten the fuck up. Not everything fits into little cookie cutter definitions. There are as many ways to express yourself artistically as people's imaginations can devise, and they're all equally legitimate.

Are they all equally enjoyable to perceive? No, that I freely admit. But you're using the argument that "it's not art" to ratify your own lack of enjoyment at viewing this... work, if that's what someone would call it.

You should just say you hate it, which is fine. Keep it in the realm of opinion instead of trying to say it's not a legitimate form of artistic expression, which it is.
