And then he was attacked by the ghoulie.

This comment has amused me very much. Take these five stars, they're yours.

The poster for the original was a ghoulie popping out of a toilet. They didn't actually get around to exploring that idea until the sequel.

The part I remember best in this movie was when the couple make out in the funhouse and one of the ghoulies pukes a green slime all over their faces, causing them to be stuck together with their tongues in each other mouths. Then they maneuver themselves out of the exit where their friends laugh at them. I don't know why but that scene gave me one of the biggest erections of my entire childhood.

uh

cognitivedissonance - 2008-07-23

I, for one, had YEARS of nightmares about this scene, so much so that it still occasionally pops up as a motif in my dreamscape. I hated this movie as a child beyond belief, I hate this movie as an adult, I shall continue hating this movie long after I'm dead and buried, and this horrific, terrifying scene is played over and over at Future Moon Guantanamo for all my grandchildren to see unto all eternity.

So of course I gave it five stars.

King of Balls - 2008-07-23

It ate or did something otherwise malicious to his butt.

zatojones - 2008-07-23

yeah I was always torn as to whether it simply bit his ass, or perhaps his cojones, or maybe something worse. I shudder to think more about it

Screwtape - 2008-07-27

Nothing malicious about it. Dude crapped on a ghoulie. How would you react?

chumbucket - 2008-07-23

cue "Hooked on a Feeling" music track

Angel Carver - 2008-07-23

I remember the posters for the Ghoulies films better than the actual movies, but it always struck me as bizarre that this character's immediate response to a traumatic, shameful, and guilt-inducing experience is to drop a load.

But now that I'm a grown man, I completely understand it.

he is going to eat your peepee
