IT'S THE BIG ONE, I'M COMING TO JOIN YOU, IT'S THE BIG ONE!

yes it is by the Q, the full song is called THE STREETBEATER.
I'm pretty sure he didn't write it for the show originally.

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2008-07-30

No. No, it does not.

Ranma X. - 2008-07-30

One of the few times where an American version of a British show is better than the original.

FISTFULLofSOUL - 2008-07-31

Better than Steptoe & Son?....in your dreams pal!

Pillager - 2012-02-03

You big dummie.

chumbucket - 2008-07-30

this is to be my theme song as I go day to day through life

StanleyPain - 2008-07-30

I used to watch this show religious as a kid....thought it was hilarious.

Still do, really, apart from the later seasons where shit got kind of scattershot.

Desidiosus - 2008-07-30

Yeah, me too. Along with Chico and the Man, it was the dinnertime ritual.

smoothbrain - 2008-07-30

I still watch it, and it's still pretty damn funny.

boner - 2008-07-30

I remember watching reruns of this show followed by Benny Hill. Possibly on a station from Cleveland Ohio... is that possible?

KnowFuture - 2008-07-31

The Sneakin' Up And Watching TV When You Were Supposed To Be In Bed lineup when I was a kid around age 8-12 years old consisted of reruns of Sanford & Son, followed by Benny Hill, followed by an hour of Three Stooges movies.

It was truly a golden age.

A song that makes me nostalgic for times before I was born. +5.

Testicles of Doom - 2008-07-31

Once someone gave me a mixtape with this theme on it, and it blew my fucking mind.
