Coincidence or Allah(twat) interceding?: I watched a couple of EyesSeeee videos this morning. The comments (especially Christian fundy vs. Islamic fundy) are awesome.
Apparently so; the reasoning I get when asking about it is that, in the afterlife, the harmful effects of alcohol do not exist so it will be OK to imbibe.
The issue in this video though is what the narrator is choosing to focus on - these things are all a very small part of the bounties described in the Muslim's concept of the afterlife. In fact, when taken as a whole, Jannah isn't terribly different from the Christian Heaven, which is why I find this (generally Christian) arrogance about who's going to be a happier dead person both puzzling and amusing.
(And also, this EyeSeee person is a total bitch and her voice makes me want to smash things).
Fundamentalism in the west leads to the idea that having sexual desire is evil. Fundamentalism in the east leads to the concept that you should detonate your kids because of some erotic stories from a holy book.
"Carnal Lust-Filled Orgy Palace" deserves its own tag.
