Some of the most astute political discourse of our time.

Typical liberal censorship of ideas.

StanleyPain - 2008-09-02

Oh man..I want to see Democratic ads using this dialogue.

"John McCain says he's about the people.....but is it possible...he is.....BUGGING?"

zatojones - 2008-09-02

i thought they called you puffy. OH SHIT that was before you got in all that trouble my bad

Xenocide - 2008-09-02

I demand that this video be made into an Obama commercial. A full transcript will be read by the calm woman who narrates Obama's attack ads.

"What the hell? Alaska? Nah. You're bugging the fuck out."

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-09-02

It felt like Diddy was holding me by my hands and we were just spinning around in his front yard.

MAGICAL!

kennydra - 2008-09-02

I love the notion that he is filming this video blog from a small merry go round in his front yard.

Adorable.

Janusian Soul - 2008-09-02

I also found this merry-go-round effect magical.

Cleaner82 - 2008-09-02

Psssst -- stop helping Diddy.

baleen - 2008-09-02

If he gets 500,000 black kids to vote I'll suck his dick.

Cleaner82 - 2008-09-02

If I agreed with you would you promise not to?

baleen - 2008-09-03

I can't stop change.

rev.dinosaur - 2008-09-02

Not that I'm offering my support, but god forbid we have a vice president who has no real-world experience with crackheads?

UnderANeonHalo - 2008-09-02

Ok I have been staying the fuck away from political video comments like the plague since my meds got straight, but damn this one is too good to pass up.

Dear Sean puff daddy puffy diddy sir rock obama *this space reserved for next weeks name* combs, I agree with you that Alaska is fucked up. Seriously, we need to ship black people, criminals, and crack heads there IMMEDIATELY! Why oh why have the backwards people of this state not yet embraced all of the benefits of crack, crime, and hip hop culture? I petition that we immediately change Obamas campaign slogan to "a crackhead for every igloo and a rapist in every daughter! Also, BLACK!".

Is "BLACK!" an active tag yet?

Rovin - 2008-09-02

How has this guy not been buried into pop culture obscurity yet?

zatojones - 2008-09-02

he's too rich

chumbucket - 2008-09-02

I'm dizzy on Diddy. McCain he crazy man. But he like the lady.

Hugo Gorilla - 2008-09-02

But, Diddy; her daughter has a baby-daddy! Palin's "down" with the "hood."

Bonus stars for vertigo.

wtf japan - 2008-09-02

How does the outcome of the election affect "Diddy" in the slightest? I really don't understand the cause of his activism. Other than not being able to fly his Diddyjet. But he was bitching last election too, back when gas was affordable.

baleen - 2008-09-02

Well you see, a long time ago, black people were brought over from Africa in slave ships. They were slaves to white people for about four hundred years, after which time there was about a century of forced segregation followed by cultural subjugation and humiliations of ever dissipating but still observable degrees. One of the worst humiliations the black people were subjected to was the forced removal of black men from any kind of position of power, especially one that had any ties to traditional African American culture, and especially young black men, or men that showed any "anger" or that wished to express their power in the mainstream. The archetypal expression of this castrated young black man is epitomized in the minstrel of one Jimmy "Dyn-o-mite" Walker.

This process of humiliation and denegration created generations of black men, that while free, felt like they were secondary citizens who were not permitted to express power, material prosperity, or any of the other things that white people took for granted. In fact, this explains a lot of the themes of rap and hiphop music as a whole, whether consciously or subconsciously expressed, and is probably just a phase in the continued evolution and subcultural fragmentation of African American culture.

P. Diddy likes Barack Obama because he is a black man who is the first person to be elevated to a position of extreme power by our culture (other than Martin Luther King, Jr.) without completely sacrificing his ties to his community in Chicago. He is playing the game, without totally hating the player, so to speak.

wtf japan - 2008-09-02

Aw, black people are still claiming Obama? I thought that crazy Reverend said he was one of ours now. Anyway, still doesn't explain why he was active last election, nor does it explain why he feels it is necessary to pretend to be informed about political issues. As long as Obama gets a little sun every now and again, that's all he really needs to know.

heyitslozeau - 2008-09-02

fact: there is no black people or crime in alaska.

I like how diddy made that somewhat racist connection

Camonk - 2008-09-02

I might actually hate this guy more than I've ever hated anybody in the history of the world. And, I mean, I'm on POE so obviously I've hated a lot of people. P. Diddy--worse than Hitler? P. Diddy--he should shut up more than Sarah McLachlan and Trent Reznor COMBINED?

Yes. The answer to both of those is yes.

Okay if he actually mobilized like 1 million inner city, urban (urban meaning black) kids to vote, fine, I guess I'll forgive him. But he's gonna have to prove it was because of him.

baleen - 2008-09-02

Come on. Rednecks have had plenty of fun supporting various candidates throughout the ages. Let the stupidest of black people be happy for once. Learn to love.

Camonk - 2008-09-02

You know if it were even the Wayans brothers, I'd be able to accept it. I just hate this guy really bad. Why, baleen? Why do you have try to make me feel guilty about this? You ruin EVERYTHING.

socialist_hentai - 2008-09-02

Ok, now what's with all this drama? This guy is a moron, he has no grasp on reality, he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about, you guys should be laughing at him not arguing over race issues. Also if barack wins he'll either get shot or disappoint everyone, if the latter occurs black ppl are gonna turn on him faster than you can say "alaska", i think it's obvious. Also "get versed on black policies, we the future" ??? What the fuck dose that mean?

Cleaner82 - 2008-09-02

As a non-American you don't think you might make the leap that maybe we care more about this election than you do?

sosage - 2008-09-02

Thanks Diddy, for making me actually re-think voting Obama for a split second. Stop making fucking videos about anything that isn't about making other dumb people live in a house and try to make a band.

Nithing - 2008-09-05

That's it, I'm voting for Ron Paul. Or David Duke.
