This is very nearly a work of surreal art.

The characters run back and forth into looping oblivion repeating the same motions over and over. Meanwhile the cringe-inducing music loops and continues on far past what is comfortable, making the viewer feel just as trapped as Shaggy and Scooby in this tortuous mobius strip reality. All of it works as a statement on the waking infinite death that Scooby has been subjected do, forced the spamically act out his dance of the damned for all eternity.

This isn't an intro. Its an act of rebellion.

They named the villain Dr. Phibes.

This makes me start imagining how you would come up with a series of torturous, painful deaths with an animation theme.

My prediction for the next series: Shaggy and Scooby Doo: Poop and Scoop.
