I was kind of disappointed when I saw how much the story had been changed, but I think this version has its merits. I'm sure a lot of changes were made because of time constraints and a limited budget, but they still could have made it truer to the source.

The scenes in the bathroom and the one with the cop, however, make this version worth watching.

Those who haven't already should seek out and read the original story by George R.R. Martin.

Also, wasn't Beau's son actually Beau Bridge's son? I remember them billing this episode as "three generations of Bridges".

I loved the Outer Limits. Every other episode was either about a clandestine alien invasion or robot maids.

I seem to recall there was one clips/anthology episode where they tried to reconcile all the varied alien invasions into one coherent continuity. It almost worked.
