My friend's parents got this for him in 5th grade, thinking it was just another miyazaki children's movie.
Also, Anime that doesn't suck.

The first time I watched this I spent a good part of the rest of the day around the house brooding.

Five stars...but no fucking way am I watching this again, at least not right now. This is one of those movies I need to be in the right frame of mind to watch or it just totally fucks me up.

If you've never seen it, you do need to watch it at least once.

I own this, so I've already seen it. But I'm five starring this because it is one of the most powerful movies I've ever seen.

Anime.

(And yes, I've watched the whole thing before.)

Great flick.

Damn good movie. It's one of the few great films that I own that I can only watch during particular times or I'll be gloomy for about a week.
