The soundtrack was great, too.

Also, this fight sequence is objectively better than any fight sequence from the latest James Bond. Think about that.

I just love how Scorpion cartwheels out of the trees when walking would have sufficed. That man is committed to being a ninja. And how totally unfair was it that Scorpion had his animate harpoon and firebreath and Cage couldn't even throw his green shit yet?

I saw this in the theater twice, then I bought it on VHS and later on DVD. I've made a huge mistake.

This movie ended up becoming a harbinger of what the Mortal Kombat franchise would eventually become.

To be fair, this is probably the best video game to movie next to Silent Hill.

This truly is one of the best videogame films ever made.
