Every time I hear his voice, it's an assault on the ears, but he's got a zeal about helping the children, so that's cool.

Interesting point. Sports are by their very nature competitive and thus exclusive. It's all well and good to inspire a sense of healthy competition but encouraging kids to be active and watch their health shouldn't be built around parading their inability to catch a ball in front of their peers.

I have always liked Richard Simmons. He's a boatload of crazy but it's the good kind.

If you want to be generally liked and respected have an admirable single-minded ambition like "make people fit and healthy." Then you can be about as crazy as you want.
