This is ... er ... pretty bland, actually. But stars for E, I suppose.

Horsecock Johnson, M.D. - 2008-12-20

I beg to differ. In 1989/1990 or so when this dropped, it was the fuckin' JAM. This record exemplifies early NWA/Dr. Dre projects, and has aged FAR better than some of the other shit that came out around the same time (including releases from other NWA affiliated artists). D.O.C.'s career was cut short far too soon, I really think he would've had a rich catalog througout the 90's if he hadn't been injured in that car accident.

There are cuts from this album that still find their way into my playlists.

Yeah, his vocal cords were sliced in a car accident shortly after his first record sold really well. I heard him on a local Dallas station a few years ago as a guest to a Sunday night hip hop show. He sounded like a person might from drinking/smoking for 50+ years which is unfortunate. He wrote a lot of the most popular lyrics for Dre, Snoop, and NWA.

So... HJ, am I reading your comment right - you 5-starred for the rest of the album and your fond memories and not the song?
