A similar organization on my local cable tries to trick evangelicals into sending money so a Russian Jew can get airlifted out of Russia and transported to Israel.
A little insight into the mind of an evangelical: Genesis 12:3 implies that a non-Jew will receive an earthly reward for any and all aid offered to a Jewish person or persons. Of course, this doesn't actually apply to Christians because of the events of the New Testament, but Protestants have a bad habit of confusing the two and giving special authority to the Jewish Bible.
Anyway, the point is that these people aren't necessarily trying to "speed up the apocalypse." It's actually much more selfishly motivated than that, and they deserve to lose their money.
