He's a lot funnier than the Man Show and those Girls Gone Wild infomercials would have you believe, but I really don't know about being one of the greatest.

He's talking about using chemicals and having a hard time with comedy like Bill Hicks, but he's not telling jokes.

He's talking about drinking and being self deprecating like Lewis Black. But he's not telling any actual jokes.

For a comedian, he's not actually doing very much comedy.

Lenny Bruce never told jokes. Now, I'm not putting Doug on the same level as Mr. Bruce, but he's a spiritual successor in the way he just tells the truth and you laugh.
