Corman's Inferno - 2009-02-09

Lessons I learned from this gripping drama:

1. It's rude to vomit when you see a room filled with dozens of mangled corpses.

2. If there's a pretty clear indication that a superpowered mass-murderer is in the same room as you, spend five minutes chatting on Skype.

major-_-turnon - 2009-02-09

'Path of least work' is easily tag of the year

Camonk - 2009-02-09

This ain't your daddy's carebears! I've always wanted to hear someone named something stupid like Funshine call a guy a pussy. And now I have.

Cube - 2009-02-09

Is this one of those things where somebody does something ridiculous and people just egg him/her on to do more stuff so they can laugh more?

Corman's Inferno - 2009-02-09

It's more a case of misguided sycophant praise from other people trapped in a cocoon of anime culture. They unironically think this is awesome and deep.

William Burns - 2009-02-09

Couldn't finish watching this out of embarrassment for whatever sad, confused creature created it. Five stars.

frau_eva - 2009-02-09

I absolutely love how edgy this makes the author feel.

Wonko the Sane - 2009-02-09

so much fat

Xenocide - 2009-02-09

CARE BEARS STARS IS A DARK AND COMPLEX MELODRAMA ABOUT THE MORALITY OF KILLING.

boner - 2009-02-09

This is a new class of entertainment. Its primary audience is people who hate it.

Cleaner82 - 2009-02-09

I want to one-star this for the Metal Gear shit. But I can't, it wouldn't be right.

garcet71283 - 2009-02-10

Code name: Metal Bear?

Maggot Brain - 2009-02-09

Stay tuned for the next episode: Race To The Rape.

thebaronsdoctor - 2009-02-09

Here we witness the horrible murder and dismemberment of Funshine and Bedtime.

Also: That magical occupant counter was sure a handy plot device.

bopeton - 2009-02-09

PUSSY

DMKA - 2009-02-09

Man, this series totally sold out.

Nikon - 2009-02-09

I'm a gigantic nerd, so I know this:
the guy is ripping off the elevator ambush in Metal Gear Solid I when several Genome Soldiers steal the Stealth Camo prototypes and wait in the elevator for Snake to come by. There's an odd weight miscount on the elevator, just as this clip has that strange occupant counter on the wall, and there's a long chat over codec before it's revealed that you just walked into a trap, just like this one. Even the closeup in the codec chat is basically the same.

It's one thing to be inspired by something, and it's another to totally rip it off.

Corman's Inferno - 2009-02-09

It's called a homage, you munch.

Nikon - 2009-02-09

An homage can be a friendly nod to something else, but copying something wholesale is not an homage.

Corman's Inferno - 2009-02-09

I wish I could give you -5 stars for thinking I was serious.

Hooper_X - 2009-02-09

Way to be a giant fag, giant fag.

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-02-09

You gigantic fucking idiot.

thebaronsdoctor - 2009-02-09

You, don't really grasp the point of this site, do you?

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2009-02-09

Nikon Nikon Nikon...

At least I can rely on you for great photography...

IrishWhiskey - 2009-02-09

Care Bears dark/angst fics that rip off Metal Gear Solid are SERIOUS BUSINESS!

That should be one of the rules of the internet.

Cleaner82 - 2009-02-09

Aside from everything in this video, "path of least work" is a five star tag in and of itself.

DMKA - 2009-02-10

The fact that this actually concerns you while looking at this train wreck as a whole disturbs me deeply.

IrishWhiskey - 2009-02-09

Is there a beloved children series in existence that doesn't have a fanfic involving rape, murder and suicide? I think not.

And the YouTube comments...Oh, the comments...

Slumgullion - 2009-02-09

Sweet christ the internet.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2009-02-10

I like how the animator chose to not just anime-ify the Care Bears into some kind of chibi monstrosities, but instead went straight to dressing up ninja-power-ranger-things in bear suits.

And the true sad is there's a whole generation of people who think nonsensical English and angsty autistic characters are signs of an epic and deeply spiritual tale on a par with the Norse sagas, especially if a character flashes their panties at some point in the "story."

Gwago - 2009-02-10

Yeah, I remember this episode. It really revolutionized the Care Bear genre.

FABIO - 2009-02-16

"After BEARLY escaping..."

Charles - 2009-05-05

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO TELL TERRY
