Well, that's mad creepy.. I just finished watching this for the first time. And, yes, the end credits were very nice.

Just this has more to it in craft and meaning than most entire movies made by other computer animation studios

Did anyone else feel disappointed that the humans got to return to Earth instead of the robots getting to take it over as their homeworld?

The only movie I've taken my 4-year-old to the theater to see. He was so entranced by it we were able to stay through the credits. He loved that bit at the very end.

Pixar: Hey, let's spend a few years expertly crafting an animated film using these computers with an attention to story, detail and aesthetics that pushes the art form to bold new hights.

Everyone else: Hey, kids fuckin' love computers. What are Ray Romano and Queen Latifa doing?

Fuck Slumdog. This was the best movie of the year. I watched five minutes of the Oscars, long enough to see actors lined up to tell other actors how wonderful and brave they were, as actors, just like we are, as actors, beautiful and brave and true, the actors' way, and by the way, did I mention that one time I did that acting... and fled the room before my television blew up from all the radioactive smugness. Such people could never imagine a medium without their glorious presence as worthy of actual commendation. Ladies and gentlemen, for your consideration in the category of Most Startlingly Mismatched - Wall-E, Kung Fu Panda, and Bolt.

I saw this movie with art majors. They were squealing like babies at this.

Also this is the only movie I have ever seen where there was an equal number of families, teenagers/young adults on dates, and friends.

I don't want to watch something that'll hurt my eyes!

This movie is like a feature-length Cal-Arts grad film

they're cute as far as credits go but "eye-achingly beautiful" makes me want to teabag you to death with a baseball bat, however that works.

I like that its art history goes from Van Gogh to pixel art. That seems about right.
