I'm kind of reminded of a speech by Douglas Adams in which he summed up this entire argument by comparing it to a sentient puddle lying on the ground. The puddle notices that it is perfectly shaped to fit in the hole on the ground, and so thinks "there must be a God".

Creationists are like that puddle. My wish is that the entire creationist movement evaporates.
