I loved James Randi. However, I got about 30 seconds into the clip and I thought I heard him say "aboot." I thought, he isn't a Canuck, is he? I looked him up on Wikipedia, and he was born in Toronto!

This is like a child finding out that his biggest baseball hero is a kiddie fiddler. That cancels out so much of his awesomeness that now he only rates "pretty great." Thanks for destroying the entire foundation of my skeptical-magician-based world, assmitter. :(

There was one time where I thought Elvis Costello was pissed off and glaring at me but it turned out to be this annoying chick behind me who kept screaming at him to "PLAY 'ALLISON'!!" between every song in his set. TOP THAT Mr. Machu Pichu.

I haven't done that since I was 6 and saw The Lion King in theaters.

If any man that deserves immortality, he is the best candidate I can think of. He actively works against ignorance and does his best to make people think. That's more than I can say for most professors I've had.

I hate to say it, but this needs an Andy Rooney tag. That said, I sure am gonna miss this man.
