Every time i ponder watching Lost, i go to the Wikipedia page, or ask someone what the show is about. After the inevitably rambling, nonsensical reply, I go pick up a book.

I have no regrets for this.

By missing Lost you are missing nothing worth watching. You've made the right decision.

That is a lie. The only way you can appreciate lost is if you watch every episode. And nobody who had seen every episode would say it sucked or they wouldn't have watched every episode, and nobody who says it sucks has seen every episode. Therefor it doesn't make any sense for anyone t o ever say it sucks.
