Yeah, Obama should be more like Bush and bring people together.

kelpfoot - 2009-05-06

I didn't believe in end of the world predictions until I saw that "Palin Bachman 2012" sign.

Bebido - 2009-05-06

I saw this and stopped watching the video. I'm sure the speech is something along the lines of blah blah blah evil, blah blah blah good.

kingofthenothing - 2009-05-06

Yeah, I was kind of hoping it would be a lot like this:

but it's not.

Pillager - 2009-05-06

Palin/Bachman 2012?

We can only hope the GOP becomes that self destructive...

Secret Messiah - 2009-05-06

For being such a good state, Minnesota has a horrible election record. Except of course, R.T. Rybak, the mayor of Minneapolis. He's the best, because his name is Raymond Thomas and he doesn't like being called that. Of course, that means any time you get to meet him (and any time that I've met him), he must only be referred to as "Raymond Thomas". I say Raymond Thomas should run for Governer. T-Paw can't last, he barely squeeked by last time and it seems about 300 more Minnesotans want a change for the Democrats now.

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-05-06

Just for the scowling walrus with the "Palin Bachman 2012" sign.

kelpfoot - 2009-05-06

PALIN
BACHMAN
REV. 6:8

VoilaIntruder - 2009-05-06

Scowling Walrus is the best band to come out of Athens, GA in 1992.

Ponasty - 2009-07-20

VoilaIntruder are you from Athens? I ask cuz i am and if you are we should get a beer.

futurebot - 2009-05-06

"failroll"

Stog - 2009-05-06

Really.

themilkshark - 2009-05-06

These are the people who were rolling like a pig in mud during the first leg of the Iraq War while their kids got DUI's and alcohol poisoning at college instead of getting blown up overseas.

VoilaIntruder - 2009-05-06

It's called professional detachment, and it's crucial to critical thinking. They can't let things like compassion and empathy impact the importance of their political statements. Statements like White Slavery and something about abortions. Yes, these men and women, nay, heroes, deserve our admiration for their stunning show of commitment to a very specific world-view. Never Forget the logic these folks sacrificed in the name of the greater good.

Also "rolling like a pig in mud". It's been a while since I've heard that.

voodoo_pork - 2009-05-06

Michelle Bachmann should meet Patrick Bateman.

Persephone S. Tight - 2009-05-06

Did she just do what I think she did at 0:35?

chairsforcheap - 2009-05-06

she absolutely did.

charmlessman - 2009-05-06

She really did, huh?
Can anyone GIF that?

Ponasty - 2009-07-20

that was the first thing i thought of too.

Mordant - 2009-05-06

I had to look up who Paul Wellstone was. You stay classy GOP.

gazebo - 2009-05-06

In all fairness you do see a ton of "What Would Wellstone Do?" bumper stickers around these parts. The republicans are still assholes, but still.

There was a short lived movement a while ago to change the name of the CARAG* neighborhood in Minneapolis to the Wellstone neighborhood.

[*=Calhoun Area Resident's Action Group. No, really - it's a real neighborhood, but everybody just calls it Uptown because CARAG is very dumb. Meanwhile I used to live in Frogtown which is an awesome name for a neighborhood.]
