I hadn't watch Steven Colbert's Watch Me Hit the Skids Variety Hour in weeks, but this one got a lot of my respect back for him. The way he lets the troops take the piss out of him is pretty great.

FUCK YOU HULU FOR BEING US ONLY!
Teldin - 2009-06-09
Sorry, but automatic 1 star for anything from Hulu.
PornocracyNow - 2009-06-09
Ha ha fuck you guys, move to the US if you want quality intarwebz broadcasting.
Or, just use a proxy you weepy vaginas.
Too much work. Bitching about Hulu is much easier.

I want someone to tell me how awesome this is in explicit detail.
Also it was supposedly filmed in one of Saddam's old palaces. There are clapping servicemen on the vaulted second floor balustrades. Seriously, this is worth tracking down. I can't imagine doing this as Colbert, and I have a pretty good imagination when I'm drunk (which I totally am; so wicked drunk)
They made a custom coat of arms for this show, and it contains as its motto "VERITASINESS"
He calls Kim Jong Il "that old lady who keeps firing rockets into the Pacific ocean."
Stephen goes to Boot Camp for "the whole ten.... hours." Should I keep going with these? This is the second time I was glad for Hulu; the first being when I saw that all the episodes of the Alfred Hitchcock Hour were on there.
So now I am happy for giving the right amount of stars.
and sad for not being able to see it.

Actually it is our local television providers who are the cunts.
According to hulu, whom I do not trust
p.s. hotspotshield turns your connection into 14.4 baud.

Dutch Oven Fresh Pie
Why don't you get off your stupid ass and find a clip you can watch?
Shit and I just sat here for an hour waiting for it to work. Thanks for the advice.
Dutch Oven Fresh Pie
Well don't rate based on what you can't get in your faggot country.

You know, I really can't stand The Colbert Report or the Stephen Colbert persona, but this was actually very uplifting. People in a shitty place with a shitty job having their morale lifted just feeds the vibes through the computer screen.

Those are girl push ups!
Ursa_minor - 2009-06-09
Man, they pulled out a lot of stops for this - it's not as funny as a typical show, but it's really good.
boner - 2009-06-09
Canadians can watch too.
All others really do live in 3rd world shit holes.
dueserpenti - 2009-06-09
That was just really, really good. The best half-hour of TV I can remember.

Administering one-star of hilarious ragebait.
Keefu - 2009-06-10
It's a shame that the sardonic jokes questioning why they are actually there don't get as much applause as the sardonic self-back patting.
Then again, holy shit even Obama is in on this.
GlennFinito - 2009-06-10
ATTN: HULU HATERS!
YOU CAN WATCH THIS ON COLBERTNATION IN INDIVIDUAL CLIPS BUT NOT AS A FULL EPISODE BECAUSE OF BULLSHIT LEGISLATURE.
THAT WILL BE ALL.
