Nahh, the ultimate twist ending was probably "Time Enough at Last". People who have never actually seen the episode and summarize it as "there's this guy who loves books and there's a war and everyone dies and he finds a lot of books to read and he breaks his glasses" have no idea what made the episode work: Serling fakes the viewer out as to where he's going with Burgess Meredith's character. He was married to a shrewish woman whom he nonetheless loved; he worked at a job where he wasn't respected but nonetheless tried to get along with everyone; and when nuclear war struck his biggest worry was loneliness, not lack of reading material. So when he finds the library, you think THAT is the twist ending -- that perhaps this poor likeable guy will discover he's happier alone after all -- and then the glasses break.

Burgess Meredith starred in four TZ episodes. The only other actor to tie him was Klug Man.
