perdy

Walt Henderson - 2009-08-01

Looks good, but it's gonna be hard to top Point Lookout.

Five stars for sexual themes.

Camonk - 2009-08-01

Dear sweet Jesus I hope that means you get to wield an anal probe. That'd be a lot of fun in Point Lookout.

Meerkat - 2009-08-01

It might be worth mothballing Brock O'Bomba and creating a Bubba character.

So, have they fixed VATS yet?

Just kidding, why fix something when there's another .99 to squeeze out. This looks great though.

Theremin

Looks...FPS-y. Again, I haven't played Fallout 3 (been waiting for the GOTY edition), but didn't Operation Anchorage take a ton of flak for essentially being an FPS? I know it's difficult to get people excited with clips of dialogue, but hmm.

HMMMM.

facek - 2009-08-01

There is a GOTY edition, it comes with Anchorage and The Pitt.

Stog - 2009-08-01

It is going to be somewhat like Anchorage, but there's going to be more in the way of usage of non-combat perks like Speech and Science, I think.

Not to mention it won't be straight out war and nothing else. It is an alien ship after all, and weird wacky shit is what's usually associated with alien abductions.

Merzbau - 2009-08-01

But there's one coming out in October that comes with Anchorage, the Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta, all for standard PC game price. Saving money and never having to deal with GFWL is more than enough reason for me to wait.

craptacular - 2009-08-01

and THAT'S WHY you always max out your Energy Weapon skill! class dismissed.

Merzbau - 2009-08-01

Oh, also? It has been hilarious to watch the crazy old-school Fallout nerds burst into screaming, coronary-inducing rage over this.

Comeuppance - 2009-08-01

I'd complain about the general lack of charm, but, that's been pretty consistent throughout all of Fallout 3. From the perspective of it as it's own game, sure, this looks alright, but the main advertised draw seems to be "look, you get some new toys if you shell out 10 bucks."

Meh.
