Little bit of a Misfits look.

What?

Disappeared at least. He hasn't logged into his youtube or myspace accounts in almost a year.

He left his phone number in one of his videos.
In admitted violation of the prime directive, I left a message likening him to a tiny god and asking him to sign in so we know he's not dead.

BUT.
He has an answering machine, which tells us two things:
1. He has phone service
2. He has electricity

Both would be cut off if he was not paying the bills. Chances are, he's taking a long leave of absence like he has before - last time, it was 6 months or so. Then, like now, he gave no warning or explanation.

Not that I would call him, but I didn't think he showed his complete number. I thought he left off the last digit.

Also did his answering machine say it was John's? Like the phone company didn't just reuse his number for someone else and you gave some random stranger a message they'll never understand.

The phone number was all but the last digit, meaning there were only nine possible numbers that weren't his. Luckily, I started with 0 and google searched it. Result: John Holden.

Also, yeah, the answering machine identified the owner as John, same voice.

The guy apparently cleans up after incontinent retards all day.

Word is he didn't take too kindly to his new found youtube fame. Last I know is that he put out a full length movie up for torrent, returned to youtube for a bit, and then disappeared again.

Fame? The guy averages less than 2000 views/video last I checked.

He clearly suffers from SAD and possibly some other things, he talks about his social anxiety in several of his videos. 2000 might have been unthinkable to him.

One of his videos got featured and made it to 900,000 views and he started receiving all sorts of messages.

Tuan, he says his name in his videos more than once.
It's not a secret.

If internet people were googling what they believed to be my phone number and then CALLING MY HOME I would just hide under the sink forever.

John's not dead, he and his brother are appearing in this anthology that I donated funding to in October.
