The idea of FEMA camps isn't hard to believe because they exist. A federal emergency management agency should be prepared to deal with refugees in the event of a disaster, although their use in holding illegal immigrants is more dodgy. Nor for that matter is it hard to believe innocent Americans would be indefinitely detained without trial for their political belief since that's also happening already.
What is hard to believe, is any of the crap Alex Jones says, as opposed to the real reporting done by by people like Glenn Greenwald. It's the minorities that Alex Jones rants against that suffer, not well-off, poorly educated white male conservatives who fear government for the very reason that it's a democracy. They hate and fear the fact that they are only mostly in charge, not completely.
All I can think of when I see the title is Camp Candy. Maybe an episode where John Candy's crazy half-brother Alex Jones comes to visit and sends everyone on a wild goose chase after FEMA agents.
Thank god I'm an ivory tower academic liberal elitist. I'll totally be snacking on arugula and champagne while Alex Jones is having jumper cables attached to his testicles.
If you ever want to troll these people, just point that stuff out. "I'm a commie liberal, so Obama's going to give me a free raygun and let me drag you off to an alien death camp. See you soon!" Their brains can't handle it.
Oh, I've already decided that I want my role in Obama's socialist communist fascist liberal utopia to be Education Reassignment Czar - I get to pick which schools your kids get forcibly bussed to. It will be my responsibility to bring the scariest inner city black kids possible to your lily white suburban neighborhood, while sending your precious little Kaylen and Jayden and Gaydar to the fucking reservation school.
How do these people deal with the fact that the one perfect chance FEMA had to enact its diabolical scheme, it was proven to be a totally ineffectual organization run by a horse fancier?
So FEMA is building 12 camps, and that's going to be sufficient to lock up all the "political dissedents?" I thought we had tens of millions of Republicans in this country. They'll need to build a lot more.
