5 stars for getting "Good work sycophants" on a children's TV show.

Xenocide - 2009-10-05

Men discussing emotions? The homosexual agenda is brainwashing our children!

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-10-05

We're happy men!

Tripitaka - 2009-10-05

Sesame Street entertained me as a small child yet continues to entertain me for completely different reasons in my twenties. I believe the Sesame Street writers intended this.

Camonk - 2009-10-05

There's lots of parents watching Sesame Street with their kids; the writers always make sure they have good reason to do so.

drcrypt - 2009-10-05

They really missed a beat when they went with "Happy Men" instead of "Glad Men."

Hooper_X - 2009-10-05

Awesome.

I would explode from sheer joy and amazement if they did Breaking Bad next.

"Walter, you're very very ill!" "Oh, that's bad! That's very bad!"

Hooper_X - 2009-10-05

(also - this isn't tagged with "Mad Men"?)

Camonk - 2009-10-05

A million imaginary stars for the bald, angry muppet growling about colors.

Rosebeekee - 2009-10-05

This puts a sticky smile on my face.

cognitivedissonance - 2009-10-05

It's no Upstairs, Downstairs or I, Cookie, but it is pretty great.

From Wikipedia: When Miranda Barry of the Sesame Workshop was asked how such a parody is possible "given the drinking, smoking, and womanizing that's a big part of the AMC show", she compared it to their parody of Desperate Housewives: "You may have seen our parody called 'Desperate Houseplants.' It was about a houseplant not getting its needs met by the gardener. So it always works on two levels."

hmm.. I don't remember a Twin Peaks parody when I was a kid.. whatever, Sesame Street was still better when we were kids :)

JimL2 - 2009-10-05

Where do you even get a fist-sized fedora? Being a costumer on that show must be interesting.

luckymew - 2009-10-05

I always loved Sesame Street as a child and even till this day it still brings back the little kid in me to giggle at this and love it as much as I did. 5-Stars
