Also the look on the hosts' faces. The female of the pair is not allowed to be sad, by contract, so she remains with the corpse of a smile on her face.
I... doubt the authenticity of this clip.
No it's real. It's Chris Taylor from the Chaser. You can say fuck on Australian TV, just usually not in the morning.
If you mean he wasn't actually breaking up with his girlfriend, then yes, you're right.
They filmed this in the add break before the Chris Taylor was supposed to come on the show for a real interview. Mel and Koshie didn't know what he had to say, but it didn't go to live air.
Also, this is part of a longer skit. The whole thing is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyPHkJMlD0Q
Fair enough. I guess I was thrown off by the laugh track.
It's less him breaking up with his girlfriend and more him fucking with a tedious, bland morning show (like there is any other kind).
And I think the audience is in on the joke.
I think that's the audience for HIS show, from when he replayed it. That morning show doesn't have an audience.
Now I know what true love is all about.

This gave me so many happy feelings at once.
if we shift in our chairs enough this will all go away
