Nothing on this website has ever got to me as much as this bitch. I was going to suggest a why the terrorists hate is tag but that doesn't fit. we need a new one. The Terrorists are right.

The Townleybomb - 2009-10-22

It is reasonable and even wise to get worked up into a frothing, self-righteous rage based on nothing more than 15 seconds of heavily-edited footage from Fox News.

Smellvin - 2009-10-22

In her defense, no food stamp card ever threw a tantrum and cried for hours at a time and demanded candy while constantly pooping and throwing up.

Adham Nu'man - 2009-10-22

Townleybomb, hate the playa not the game.

Time Travel Mishap - 2009-10-23

"No, I really dont because if they had been there by themselves, I dont know if the boys set the house on for or somebody threw something in there to set it on fire. I really need to get in there to see if my purse burned up. I had my Food Stamp Card and everything in there."

OK you go ahead and walk me through how you think that was taken out of context with evil editing. Or do you think its all fake? maybe she was really crying while saying this and they removed the tears with CG?

dementomstie - 2009-10-23

Townley: I'm not a fan of Fox News, but this is a local news station that just happens to be on the Fox Network. It's not like it's O'Reilly interviewing the woman on his standard beat of the Memphis area. I've watched the local Fox news in Sacramento for years and never seen the same agenda that is so brazenly presented on the Fox News Network. The story doesn't present much of her side of the story, so yes, maybe there is more to it than what is presented, but regardless of how it's edited that is a very inhuman seeming response to the news that your two and three year old nephews probably just burned to death. This woman would be shown no matter if it was Fox, NBC, or CNN. If a reporter gets this sort of reaction during an interview there is no way they're going to not show it.
I agree that this woman is by far the most evil thing I've seen on this website. Anyone who cares more about her god damn food stamps than her living, breathing, nephews is evil.

Syd Midnight - 2009-10-23

I bet abortion wasn't legal when she had her kids.

Hay Belly - 2009-10-24

TTM, you don't know what the reporter asked her between those sentences or how long the interview was. It's obvious it was edited. People are usually dumb when being interviewed, and she's already got a head start.

MurgatroidMendelbaum - 2010-04-19

I agree with Hay Belly.
This one time? I totally saw this video of Bush singing Sunday Bloody Sunday. Only later did I discover that it had been edited together. True story.

HP Lovesauce - 2009-10-22

Wow, quite a piece of work.

NewHeavenSalesman - 2009-10-22

So, is Memphis the worst large city in America?

Discuss.

HarrietTubmanPI - 2009-10-22

For a city with 650,000 people, it's a decent shithole in a few areas. Flat and Hot with a lot of Poverty which most of the upper crust ignores.

South Memphis (or 'souf memphus' as it is known to the locals) is full of a lot of poor people and a lot of them don't have much education.

However, if you are looking for Barbecue, you couldn't have chosen a better city.

Camonk - 2009-10-22

Memphis represent!

It's got a decent little downtown area, too, with lots of hole-in-the-wall museums. Also there is a lot of good food here, not just barbecue (which is inSANE, it must be said).

But uh yeah. Kind of a racist old shitbox in several places. If The Wire has taught me anything, it's that Baltimore is worse.

spikestoyiu - 2009-10-22

Hyper-aggressive bums.

Diogenes - 2009-10-22

Pretty much, yeah. Segregated in every way imaginable. An island of the privileged surrounded and completely oblivious to unimaginable poverty, squalor, and suffering. And that's just in Memphis, it gets worse when you look at Shelby county as a whole. It's like a case study in white flight. The fire scenes are always bad in Memphis compared to not Memphis.

But, hey, there's a glorious pizza place off Union and a kickass down-funk cafe off McLean. The barbecue is overrated, though. The place is great if you can turn a blind eye to suffering of fellow humans.

hentaiwolf - 2009-10-22

Can't be worse than Detroit, can it?

Hooker - 2009-10-22

I think Jerry Lawler would be a fantastic selection for mayor of this.

Hooper_X - 2009-10-22

Camonk, you're in Memphis? If I'd known, I would have offered to buy you a beer or two (at the Flying Saucer, perhaps?) the last time I was out that way.

Camonk - 2009-10-22

I am, and I'm getting used to it. Slowly. A couple of my friends here are native Memphians and they keep trying to tell me how cool it is.

Note: they are white people! From Germantown and Cordoba. So uh.

HarrietTubmanPI - 2009-10-22

"The barbecue is overrated, though."

If you are going to a place that doesn't have bars on the windows, then you're not having real barbecue.

Hooper_X - 2009-10-22

Well, shit. A friend of mine was stationed out at Millington for the last couple years, so I was in town probably two-three times a year. Oh well!

Camonk - 2009-10-22

Are there really this many PoErs in Memphis, or does everybody just have really strong opinions about the place? That's my question.

punch drunk babies - 2009-10-23

I'm not in Memphis itself, but am 1 1/2 hours away, with a line of family members pointing to the city, until you get to one of my sisters who goes to college there. So yeah, I go there pretty frequently. Around where I live you have New Orleans and Memphis, and Memphis is somewhat cleaner.

Disaster - 2009-10-23

I live in Saint Louis now but I lived in Memphis for a couple of months.

Menudo con queso - 2009-10-23

The Exiled seems to think so, and they've been right about everything else so far.

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-10-22

what

revdrew - 2009-10-22

You know, they can just send you a replacement green stamp card.

It'll be free and everything.

James Woods - 2009-10-22

This level of jaw-dropping apathy is new to me. Fucking incredible. Burn the witch.

gambol - 2009-10-22

!

lucienpsinger - 2009-10-22

Feel bad about leaving them in there? Hell no, they might have started the fire!

Easily earns a five for evil.

chumbucket - 2009-10-22

hell yeah, them kids should be in jail for letting that house burn

StanleyPain - 2009-10-22

Missing black people tag.

James Woods - 2009-10-22

Nah, needs uneducated minority tag. Whitey from Colorado could probably play ball with this. We just don't have the news story to prove it yet.

BornAgainCannibal - 2009-10-22

I think this needs an 'Evil Enough' tag.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-10-22

I hope her purse is okay. It would be a shame if it were burnt up, along with her dignity.

mashedtater - 2009-10-23

i think you mean her humanity, ROUS.

Hooper_X - 2009-10-22

I dunno. I mean, on the surface, that's fucked up. On the other hand, that's pretty fucked up to come home and the house is on fire with two little kids inside. That's the kind of situation where I could see someone trying to make a joke (like "Gosh, I hope my record collection is OK") just as a way of trying to avoid the fucked-upness of the thing.

I mean, I'm not saying she's not a fucking lunatic weirdo, but sometimes you are so freaked out by a situation that you say some dumbass shit as an attempt to deal.

La Loco - 2009-10-22

You know if they survived she would have beat them to death.

Richmond - 2009-10-22

I think we might be looking right at a textbook sociopath. (I mean, someone that has the sociopathic tendencies in antisocial disorder.)

Ain't no remorse in there to come out.

mantang0 - 2009-10-22

is "dropping the dude off who cut her grass and stuff" a euphemism for something?

La Loco - 2009-10-22

What kind of man would "cut her grass"?

Camonk - 2009-10-23

Nothing to do with that lady is euphemistic for ANYTHING

sunisevil - 2009-10-23

Does anyone know if the Memphis radio station that regularly plays "Kids Burning To Death" is streaming on the net?

jaunch - 2009-10-23

Not sure if anyone read the followup article, but the 3 year old died. The 2 year old is still in critical condition.

Yeah, most evil video I've ever seen.
