I guess you can't show tentacle rape on POETV can you? There's lots of stuff missing. There's the flashback in every battle that shows the tragic past of the combatant who's about to loose. It's hard to tell but I think they had one of the combatants, totally helpless while getting an overly complicated attack ready, and the opponent just standing around waiting for it instead of attacking while the enemy is weak, didn't they?
Girls? Possibly. Remember, this is anime. Just because they look like girls, sound like girls, and are dressed like girls doesn't mean we should jump to conclusions.
Sorry dude. This cartoon was absolutely terrible. Not even lesbians, giant robots and a villain who was a manga artist before becoming a TERRRIBLE MONSTER could save it.
The best part of this is that that scene is entirely from the FIRST episode of a show, not spliced together from different shows or crazed dramatic tension from the final episode of some show.
A lot of good points made as to why this isn't really a good summation of anime. The best point is that this is a 50 second clip and at least two things happen. Two things a minute is about one and a half too many things for most animes.
For real. Even the best anime ever (Fist of the North Star) has 5 mins of them staring at each other or giving huge long expositions on why their style will overcome the others style based on the position of solar bodies.
