Yikes. And for a movie version of Alice in Wonderland, Alice doesn't seem to appear very much. The list is in order of appearance right? So clearly Alice is the last character to appear in the movie, a point which few will ever see as they've been scared to death by the rest of the cast.

What the hell are you talking about? She's on the first page.

jangbones - 2009-10-27

there are two guys named Roscoe in the cast

Ponasty - 2009-10-28

when was the last time you saw anyone named Roscoe much less 2 in the same movie? Why is Cary Grant supposed to make me shit?

Oh and May Robson was the earliest born actress to ever get an Oscar. She was born in 1858 in Australia and if she were alive today she would be 151 years old.

Say, I hope these fellows aren't liable to walk about the town in such fanciful costumes and that they leave them on the set upon leaving! I took my nephew Barnabus to this picture last Tuesday week and although he quite enjoyed the feast for the imagination, he was also quite puzzled as to why the film differed so much from the book which lies upon his shelf by mister Carrol.

I'm sure he won't get any funny ideas from this picture about meeting the queen of hearts or even Alice herself, but I do sometimes wonder if an equal will be produced that was as enjoyable for children the world over as this was.

The rest of the movie is on Youtube... but it takes a special brand of dedication to follow it. Relic from the inscrutable past, just like how Tim Burton's version will be 15 minutes out of theaters.

Never even heard of Louise Fazenda before...me-YOW!

Also, once back when I was a theatre fag I was involved in a really really horrible "modernized" revisionist production of Alice in Wonderland and played the same character as Cary Grant. That's...sorta cool...I guess...not really...heh...

She'd be 114 this year.
