Dammit it doesn't work and there's no way to re-add the URL.

Charles - 2009-11-11

Nevermind, the Dailyshow's share/embed link is fucked.

Just copy and paste this:

Awaiting Hannity's/CenaMark's spin on this...

Paracelsus - 2009-11-11

I have a guess. They already have said it many times: 'John Stewart's a comedian'. As opposed to the actual clowns.

Tobster - 2009-11-11

Hannity actual says sorry

Well, he also claimed it was a mistake though. I've never seen a TV studio that didn't label their tapes & files, so even in the best scenario someone knew about it and let it go in order to fill the time.

Bort - 2009-11-12

The spin will be: it was just stock footage, and you will notice that nobody actually pointed to the film clip in question and said anything about it in connection with the story. Not much different than, say, doing a story about a tornado and showing stock footage of tornadoes.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-11-12

Watch the video. He responded by acknowledging the "mistake" and then made a crack about the Daily Show having writers.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-11-12

But you're right there could very well be more spin.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-11-11

I know we have free press and all but there should be some sort of ban on using fake footage if you have the word "news" in your network name.

Syd Midnight - 2009-11-12

Fox News has gone to court and gotten judgments in their favor, saying they don't have to be unbiased even though they say they are. Seriously. Employees used to save evidence and try and whistleblow, but there's really no use.

badideasinaction - 2009-11-12

Bingo. Fox News fought for and won their god-given right to lie to people and present it as news. Yay for America.

facek - 2009-11-12

It's more comforting to just think of them as a tabloid and point out that they have all the credibility of one whenever someone brings them up or tries to cite them.

memedumpster - 2009-11-11

Their defense for this is that no one at Fox News actually knows where they are now.

bac - 2009-11-12

Well at least they didn't use photo-shop this time.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2009-11-12

Go for the throat, Jon!
